Ingredients

  • 1 box brownie mix plus required oil/eggs per box
  • 1 jar strawberry jam approx. 10-12 oz
  • 3 cups strawberries fresh, sliced
  • 1 ¾ cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 tsp coconut oil
  • Flaky sea salt for garnish

Instructions

  • Bake: Prepare the brownies according to the package instructions in a parchment-lined pan. Allow them to cool completely before proceeding.
  • Layer: Spread an even layer of strawberry jam over the cooled brownies. Arrange the sliced strawberries in a tight, even layer over the jam.
  • Melt: In a microwave-safe bowl, combine chocolate chips and coconut oil. Microwave in 30-second increments, stirring in between, until silky smooth.
  • Top: Pour the melted chocolate over the strawberries, using a spatula to spread it to the edges. Immediately sprinkle with flaky sea salt.
  • Set: Place in the freezer for 10 minutes (or refrigerator for 20 minutes) until the chocolate shell is firm.
  • Serve: Slice with a hot knife for clean cuts and enjoy!
